ATHIDI Audio Function Details !

UTV organized the audio release function of KPPL-UTV collaboration Athidi at Hyderabad’s Marriott this evening. The function was graced by Superstar Krishna, Ramesh Babu, Prince Mahesh, Namritha, Vijayanirmala, Manjula, lyricist Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry, director Surendra Reddy, Dil Raju, KL Narayana, S. Gopal Reddy, Arjun Raju, Ashok, KS Ramarao, Gemini Kiran, Bhaskarabhatla, Sameer Reddy and others. The function unveiled the entry of UTV into Telugu films production and distribution. After tremendous success in Bollywood and overseas, UTV is venturing into Telugu films for the first time in collaboration with the prestigious Krishna Productions Private Limited banner, established by the scions of Superstar Krishna on his name. A short 5 minute video presented background information on UTV. Their collaboration with KPPL and entry into Telugu film industry is expected to promote better production and marketing strategies at a corporate level not only in Andhra Pradesh but across India and the Globe wherever Telugu films are patronized. KPPL’s tie up with UTV is expected to enhance the reach of KPPL internationally and could lead to further collaborations in future. Speaking on the occasion of the audio release, Sirivennela Seetarama Satry garu felt nostalgic about melodious lyrics. Commenting specifically about the well received melody “Satyam Emito”, Sirivennala said he was pleased that in these times when producers and directors were not interested in such melodies, director Surender specifically asked him to write melodious lyrics and was satisfied only after he got what he wanted. Sirivennela opined that the movie would definitely be a big success. Surender Reddy spoke briefly saying it was the Telugu film industry’s good fortune to have an uncompromising actor like Mahesh. Mahesh and Adi Seshagiri Rao unveiled a poster of the film. Two trailers of the film were shown to the audience. Superstar Krishna officially unveiled the audio of the movie by distributing copies of the movie’s cassettes and CDs to guests.
