Thrilling Duel In Spyder

Spyder Thrilling Duel

Mahesh Babu’s upcoming Dussera release Spyder is currently red hot in the film trade. Third parties are vying for exhibition rights of the film for fancy offers.

Meanwhile, encouraging reports are coming in from industry insiders. The film is very different from regular masala potboilers. It is also quite different from usual Murugadoss kind of message oriented commercial films.

Duel between Mahesh and SJ Suryah is going to be the major highlight of the film. The clash between hero and villain is full of mind games and intelligent scenes, according to sources.

Second half will be a thrilling ride with high octane action scenes and thrills.

SPYder will have no drinking and smoking scenes, neither involving Mahesh Babu nor the antagonist SJ Suryah. That is why the makers are trying their best to get rid of the mandatory yet unnecessary anti-smoking disclaimers at the start of every film. As per the same reports, Suryah will be seen sipping on green tea – yes, devoid of any alcoholic content.

Director Murugadoss said – “The story is in no way related to politics. Spyder is an action thriller between a spy and criminal. Mahesh Babu also has a huge fan base in Tamil Nadu, especially girls. I’ve shown him as a stylish spy in Spyder. Mahesh Babu is a director’s actor, he brings the exact emotions which I expect him to perform for the script.”

Mahesh Babu said – “Spyder is a very intense film, and it was challenging too. It will be an edge-of-the-seat action thriller. To shoot every scene in both Tamil and Telugu was a grueling task. So, unless the team is confident, it is difficult to pull off a movie like this. I would like to thank the entire direction department and the production team for making this happen. It was an amazing, entirely fresh experience to shoot for a bi-lingual.”

SPYder also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Bharath, RJ Balaji, Priyadarshi Pullikonda and Shaji Chen. It is produced by NV Prasad and Tagore Madhu’s NVR Cinema. It is slated to release this Dushhera on 27 September.
